  1. Welcome CHARVIEW users,
  2.  
  3. CHARVIEW is a Windows 3.0 program that allows easy copying to the Clipboard
  4. of ANY character of ANY font currently installed in your system.  This
  5. program is especially useful when the need to use characters beyond the
  6. "A-Z" range.  Most programs allow the user to enter an "<ALT>xxx" code
  7. to represent that character but with CHARVIEW, the user simply copies the
  8. desired character to the Clipboard.
  9.  
  10. The "get-acquainted" version is written in Visual Basic so you have to 
  11. include the file "vbrun100.dll" (Copyright Microsoft, OK TO DISTRIBUTE WITH THIS 
  12. PROGRAM BUT NOT BY ITSELF) in your Windows directory.  Future release
  13. version will be written in "C" thereby not requiring this file.

  15. CHARVIEW is distributed free of charge but no portions may be changed without
  16. permission from the author.  Users may register their programs for $25.00
  17. and be eligible for ALL future release and enchancement to CHARVIEW free of
  18. charge.
